Our story began long before Time Out Sitters. We met in Mr. Fitzgerald’s sixth grade class back in 1991 and have been best friends since that day. We believe that the secret to our friendship is constant laughter, and we feel so fortunate to wake up everyday and do what we love.
Time Out Sitters was born out of a need for dependable childcare. As busy moms with backgrounds in communications and hospitality management, and five children between the two of us, we turned our lifelong friendship into a business partnership. Time Out Sitters is built on trust, safety, and relationships. From the beginning, we’ve stayed hands-on, personally vetting every sitter to ensure the highest standards of care. What began as a shared vision between friends has grown into a community that helps families find peace of mind, knowing their children are in safe, capable hands.

Born and raised in West Texas, Jasmine is married to her high school sweetheart and is a proud mom to a sweet baby girl. As a new working mom, Jasmine has personally experienced the need for reliable sitters and realized that Lubbock could greatly benefit from a service like Time Out Sitters. Jasmine’s goal is to ensure that families feel supported by trusted sitters and become part of the TOS community. Having been a Time Out Sitter herself while attending UTSA, Jasmine understands exactly what parents need and what to look for in great sitters. She is incredibly excited to embark on this journey and bring our top-notch services to Lubbock.

Nancy has been with Time Out Sitters since starting as a sitter in 2013! Top-notch customer service, playful creativity, and attentive care are some of the skills that helped earn her spot on countless clients’ preferred sitter lists. Eager to continue learning all things TOS, she aided in growth by recruiting and hiring sitters in the San Antonio, Austin, and Waco markets and worked on-call as Operations Manager. These opportunities have afforded her the knowledge, diligence, and zeal needed to bring Time Out Sitters to the Rio Grande Valley. Families can rest assured that their children, human and fur, are in the best hands.

We have sitters available 24 hours a day.
Phone calls and emails will be answered and returned between the following hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Sunday: 2 p.m. – 5 p.m
